My daily prayer point has been as follows
"Oh lord, I need a husband, not just a husband o, a white man"
My prayer point was funny right? But that was what I needed. Many men had asked for my hand in marriage but I turned all down. I wanted a white man
White man or no husband
Many people, laughed at my prayer point, I wasn't even getting any younger. At a point, many men began to avoid me due to the fact that I turned them down.
I didn't even care. people however nicknamed me "white man or no husband ". Menopause was fast catching up with me. Soon I heard stories of how Santa clause granted people's heart desires. Believe me, I also included that in my prayer point.
"Father lord, may Santa visit me and provide me with a husband, a white man"I prayed
I even went on a fast because of it. After some months and it seemed like God wasn't hearing me, i stopped praying for Santa to come but I continued with the God bless me with a white husband.
I got employed as a teacher in a secondary school and my prayer began to manifest. There I met this white man. According to what I heard, they were working on the road very close to the school where I taught and sometimes, he'd stay in the school premises whenever he needed rest.
Okay God was finally remembering me, his beloved daughter. At times, I'd offer him water to drink
My prayers must be answered o
A certain time, I had offered him snacks and a conversation transpired
"Are you married? "I asked without wasting much time
His accent was unique and pleasant to the ear.
"I was married" he replied
"Was married? "I asked
"Yes, actually divorced "he replied
Mogbe, divorced or not, I'd still marry
"Are you married? " he asked
I smiled first
"Hell no"I replied quickly
He smiled and our conversation ended as I went back to class.
I started giving him Banana and before I knew what was happening, he asked me to be his wife.
See happiness
To me, I felt Santa had answered my prayers, coupled with God's hand of blessing
Our wedding was the talk of the town. No other girl dare come close to my husband o, else we die here.
My prayer point became the prayer point of many other girls
Mad people
White man talk, became the order of the day.
Our marriage in the first year, was blessed with a baby boy
Wait. Wait.. Wait...
You thought it'd end in hot premium tears? X
We die together.
Well to bring us back to the present, I stretched on the bed realizing it was all a dream
I cried my heart out
My prayer point cannot fall to the ground, neither will it end in tears
I quickly went on my knees
"Father lord, I believe your word over my life, may my dreams come to pass, I must marry a white man. White man or no husband"I cried to God
And as for Santa, I'm patiently waiting, send my husband. Your daughter is patiently waiting
